Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is best famous for his role as the lead in Birdman. He is a versatile actor who has the ability to perform both comic as well as dramatic characters. As an actor, he has played a number of romantic roles as well as played in action films. He was attracted to performing and acting when it was his teenage years and attempted stand-up comedy as young men. It did not go well, but it was the beginning of the path to a career in acting. In order to succeed as a comic, he was offered a position as a cameraman with a local cable television station. While working at the cable station, he discovered he wanted to work in the camera. Then he landed a TV part, and was featured on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and gained a lot of attention on TV. He decided to pursue a film career that was full of ambitions and found considerable fame with his comedic performances. The actor gained further recognition by playing the titular villain from Tim Burton's Batman. He developed as an actor in the years to come and then ventured into directions and production. He has received numerous awards as well as nominations for his work in the film Birdman.
